#SpanishGP| Marquez Reigns in Spain.
The first win back on European soil belongs to Marquez, who won at Jerez. Rins finished 2nd and Viñales joined them on the podium.
Marquez hosted a masterclass at Jerez today as he lead the race from the first lap. Rins gave it his all, but settled for 2nd position as Marquez stormed away at the front. Viñales rounded out the top 3, after a thrilling battle with Dovizioso.
As Marquez lead a cool, calm and collected race, the Petronas Yamaha riders followed, not allowing him too much of a gap. As the gap began to grow, Quartararo tried his best to reel Marquez in. However the young Frenchman was thwarted by a mechanical issue.
Once Rins had passed Morbidelli, he settled into a rhythm to ride a stunning, mature race to 2nd place. Viñales and Dovizioso tussled for 3rd however, Viñales came out on top, securing the final podium position.
Pramac Ducati riders Bagnaia and Miller both suffered crashes, however both riders walked away from their incidents.
After a long race, Marquez leads the title chase by just a single point, from Rins, Dovizioso and Rossi.
