Lorenzo Dalla Porta is really fast in Barcelona as well and Sunday will try to win his first GP of the season after being really close in the previous races. Leopard rider is the fastest guy during the second session of free practice thanks to his 1.49.213, which put him on top of time sheet.
The Italian is ahead of Tatsuki Suzuki, 2nd with one tenth of second of gap from the top; the Japanese is in front of Gabriel Rodrigo, 3rd and two tenths of a second slower than the best performance of the afternoon.
4th is Sergio Garcia with 1.49.606 and Romano Fenati 5th: Snipers’ guy keeps the pace showed during the morning but the most important thing for him is the race, as long as during this year he was never able to convert free practice’s speed on Sunday. Really close Romano are Niccolò Antonelli and Kaito Toba, 6th and 7th.
Good improvement from Marcos Ramirez, who got an help from his teammate Lorenzo Dalla Porta, while Albert Arenas and Masaki close FP2’s top 10. An early crash did not let FP1 leader Alonso Lopez to do a good lap but he is still fastest overall, with Binder and Oncu being out of 14 in FP2 but still into Q2 because of combined times.
