SpeedUp duo seems to be ready for qualifying session in the afternoon, with Jorge Navarro being the fastest guy on track just for 25 thousandths of a second from his teammate Fabio Di Giannantonio. Both are really fast at Catalunya and could fight for the win Sunday.
Same thing for Sam Lowes, who did not get great results during this season; the Briton ended in 3rd this session ahead of Luca Marini, 4th and just 0.045s far from the top. The Italian have found the confidence he needed and could be a game changer from now on.
Just other 23 thousandths of a second separate Luca and last two GP winner Alex Marquez, who is 5th and followed by Tom Luthi. Fight for pole, victory and podium will be really close with many riders able to get a good position; we have also Enea Bastianini, 7th after a good Friday.
Top 10 is closed by Marcel Schrotter, championship leader Lorenzo Baldassarri and Remy Gardner, while last 4 places for the direct access to Q2 are taken by Andrea Locatelli, Augusto Fernandez, Simone Corsi and Nagashima. Out for just 0.012s Brad Binder who made also a mistake in his fast lap.
