Probably Alex Rins is the main candidate for the victory tomorrow as long as he is fast in every conditions with every tyre. The Spaniard ended 2nd just after Fabio Quartararo and before Maverick Vinales. The French from Yamaha Petronas is looking good also on the race pace after showing how competitive he is in a single lap.
Franco Morbidelli, after the big crash of the morning, is 5th and ready for Q1 session following Marc Marquez who ended in 4th, with the Italian being followed by Andrea Dovizioso, who looks fine in Barcelona. Valentino Rossi is just behind him, with the nine-time world champion who tried both soft and hard compounds.
Takaaki Nakagami ended in 8th ahead of Joan Mir and Jack Miller, who closes top 10, while Cal Crutchlow is 11th due to a crash in his last run in which he was doing a fast lap. Jorge Lorenzo is 12th, while Italian GP winner Danilo Petrucci is struggling a bit this weekend and in the last session of free practice ended in 15th position being almost one second far from the FP4 leader Fabio Quartararo.
