Lorenzo Dalla Porta is looking good and in the last session before race is ahead of everyone else for three tenths of a seconds. Leopard rider rode in 1.49.134, being fast and consistent. The Italian is followed by championship leader Aron Canet, who could make the difference in Spain and increase his leadership.
3rd Darryn Binder who showed a great race pace, surely we have to keep an eye on him as long as he could try to stay in front of the group and run away; same story for poleman Gabriel Rodrigo, who has a big chance in Barcelona to shine after a not so well weekend in Italy.
Last GP winner Tony Arbolino and front row starter ended in 5th and will be a podium contender, while Kaito Toba is 6th and Tatsuki Suzuki 7th with a crash; not the ideal situation for him and the team, his mechanics will have a lot of work to do. Top 10 is closed by Masaki, Albert Arenas and Marcos Ramirez, really close to each other. Strange session for Ai Ogura, who will start 2nd; Honda Team Asia rider ended in penultimate position, just ahead of Riccardo Rossi.
