The #DutchGP is a favourite among riders, meaning that every rider is eager to impress at Assen. However, with 20-30 men all competing for the same ‘perfect’ line, some riders may get it just a little bit wrong.

Can Öncü (Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3) will receive a 6 place grid penalty, meaning he will start the #DutchGP from 23rd on the grid. This penalty has been imposed due to a crash caused by Öncü at the #CatalanGP.

During the Moto3 FP2 session, Alonso Lopez (Estrella Galicia 0,0) was on a ‘slow lap’, and found himself at fault, causing a crash with Canet. Lopez has been handed a 6 place grid penalty, meaning he will start tomorrow’s race from 24th.

Britain’s Tom Booth-Amos (CIP Green Power) was found to be riding slowly in 3 or more sectors, in excess of 112% of his fastest times. He has been given a 12 place grid penalty, due to this being a repeat offence. Booth-Amos will start the #DutchGP from last on the grid.

On Friday’s opening session of the #DutchGP, Stefano Manzi (MV Agusta Idealovoro Forward) caused a crash which subsequently led to the withdrawal of Pratama from the weekend’s action. Manzi was found to be riding irresponsibly and has been penalised to start at the back of the grid.

Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Tech 3 MotoGP), who has shown some pace this weekend, was found to be riding in an irresponsible manner, being slow on the racing line and disturbing another rider on a potentially fast lap. Oliveria has been given a 3 place grid penalty, meaning he will start tomorrow’s #DutchGP from 20th position.

Phillip Oettl (Red Bull KTM Tech 3 Moto2) will miss the #DutchGP due to an existing injury. Oettl suffered concussion and, despite his best efforts, had to sit out of the #CatalanGP and will be forced to do the same this weekend. It has been reported he has been experiencing sickness and vision issues.

Jorge Lorenzo (Repsol Honda Team) suffered a heavy crash during Friday’s FP1 session of the #DutchGP. He has fractured T6 and T8 vertebrae in his neck. He will miss the next 2 rounds of the World Championship at least.
