What a race in Moto3 with Tony Arbolino winning his second race of the season! Snipers rider snatched it again from Lorenzo Dalla Porta’s hands at the end of a great duel in the last lap where Arbolino made his move on the final sector without letting Leopard rider any chance to attack again! Number 14 had a good start from first row and stayed for the whole race in the group fighting for the victory and avoided every incident! Fantastic weekend for the Italian who had difficult times in Barcelona being forced to retire due to a mechanical problem!

Nothing to do again for Lorenzo Dalla Porta who lost again his first victory of the season for just 45 thousandths of a second, with Leopard rider who was really good on managing the whole race overtaking many riders and coming back on the group fighting for podium positions! Number 48 had in the final stages even a good gap on his compatriot Arbolino but Snipers rider made an incredible penultimate fast lap to catch him and Lorenzo was not able to replicate his overtake at turn 14! Despite missing again the victory, Dalla Porta should be satisfied overall as long as he closed a lot his gap on Aron Canet, finished 12th, with just 7 points separating the Spaniard and the Italian.

Stunning ending and race for Jakub Kornfeil who had the chance of being successful but was penalized in the last laps due to a little shortcut made in the middle of the race. PruestlGP rider did not lose much time to avoid the long lap penalty and the Czech was forced to do it with 2 laps to go being still able to rejoin the track in 3rd position defending it in the best way possible finishing then on the podium.

Gabriel Rodrigo ended in 4th and tried everything he could to attack Kornfeil, while John McPhee was just behind, with Ai Ogura 6th. Marcos Ramirez as well tried to replicate Barcelona’s podium but his moves did not end in the way he wanted while poleman Niccolò Antonelli was 8th after the chequered flag. The Italian fought in the early stages of the race but he made a long lap penalty due to a shortcut; Sic58 Squadra Corse rider did not have any advice on his dashboard but still decided to do the penalty rejoining the track really far from the top.

Unlucky race for Jaume Masia, who made a strong comeback but ended the day with 0 points due to a technical problem, while Darryn Binder crashed while fighting for podium positions. Disaster ending also for Celestino Vietti, Kaito Toba, Tatsuki Suzuki and Raul Fernandez; the Japanese from Honda Asia Team had a small contact with Marcos Ramirez and crashed, hitting Vietti, Suzuki and Fernandez too.
