Austrian GP could not start any better for Jakub Kornfeil, with Redox PruestlGP Rider who is the fastest guy on track in the first session of free practice at Red Bull Ring being the only one able to ride under the 1.37. Czech Rider rode indeed in 1.36.967, almost two tenths of a second faster than everyone.
Tony Arbolino is the first rider following him, with two compatriots just behind him and really close on time sheet; Celestino Vietti finished in 3rd, an impressive result considering how Italian rookie always struggle a bit in the first session of free practice in the track that he does not know, while Lorenzo Dalla Porta is 4th with three tenths of a second of gap from FP1 leader.
Championship battle is on fire with Aron Canet following his rival finishing in 5th ahead of Raul Fernandez and Deniz Oncu, while his brother Can Oncu ended in 9th with Dennis Foggia between them; Italian Rider from Sky Racing Team is not riding in the best way possible as long as he is ill from yesterday and could suffer a lack of energy.
Top 10 is closed by Salac, followed by Niccolò Antonelli, Romano Fenati, Marcos Ramirez and Tatsuki Suzuki, who is the last rider actually taking a spot for the direct access to Q2. Out for the moment Jaume Masia, Brad Binder, Albert Arenas and Andrea Migno, with the Italian from Bester Capital Dubai who suffered a little crash at turn 3 during FP1.
