Heartbreaking race in MotoGP, with Andrea Dovizioso who took off win from Marc Marquez’s hands in the last lap thanks to a superb last decisive move at the last corner coming back to victory, with Fabio Quartararo taking last podium spot

This time it was not a Marc Marquez’s monologue, but Andrea Dovizioso was able to stay with him until the end, engaging a fantastic battle for the win where everything could happen until last lap. Things started to get serious immediately with the Italian who tried to overtake reigning World Champion who tried to resist but went wide forcing also Ducati rider to lose time and positions. Fabio Quartararo took then an early lead but Dovi and Marc closed the gap quickly and French rookie had to give up but he secured last podium spot.

It could have been a third position battle as well, but Jack Miller ended his race too soon crashing at penultimate corner in early stages of the race, while Valentino Rossi did not have the pace to catch Yamaha Petronas rider and finished on fighting with his teammate Maverick Vinales and Alex Rins for 4th position. Nine time World Champion ended ahead of the two Spaniards, with Maverick who was able to keep Suzuki rider behind him.

At the end, it was a superlative Andrea Dovizioso who snatched victory from Marc Marquez’s hands thanks to a superb last corner heartbreaking move without giving any chance to reigning World Champion to replicate. The two guys made an incredible show during the whole race with many overtakes, with the Spaniard who tried to run away from the Italian during the last lap, but Ducati rider was really good on stay really close to him being able to make a decisive move for the win.

7th position for Francesco Bagnaia who did probably his best race of the season, with Miguel Oliveira who did good job for KTM in his home Grand Prix finishing 8th ahead of Danilo Petrucci. Bad luck for Pol Espargaro, with his bike that turned off in early stages provoking Cal Crutchlow’s crash, with the Briton who could not end the race. Top 10 was closed by Franco Morbidelli.
