#MalaysianGP | Fabio Quartararo is amazing in a full Yamaha first row as Marquez suffers a big crash!
A fantastic qualifying in Sepang gave us a stunning Fabio Quartararo again on pole position ahead of Maverick Vinales and Franco Morbidelli, while Marc Marquez crashes out with a huge highside and will start from behind tomorrow!

Sepang’s qualifying session started in the best way possible with a really fun and entertaining Q1 where Danilo Petrucci, Joan Mir, Cal Crutchlow and Aleix Espargaro engaged a nice battle to get the two spot to qualify themselves for Q2. In the first part of the session, it seems that Mir and Petrucci would have been the guys to go through, but in the second run everyone improved their lap time giving a lot of surprising on the line.
It was a crazy last minute that decided the top 2 of Q1, with Joan Mir who had the first shot jumping on top, but Danilo Petrucci then snatched him the lead to secure himself a position into Q2. Anyway, games were not done yet because Cal Crutchlow with a stunning fast last attempt was able to surprise everyone going on top after the chequered flag, while Aleix Espargaro was really fast but missed second position being not too far from that time.

Even Q2 did not disappoint us with a fantastic first run where MotoGP guys swapped their position a lot; it was Fabio Quartararo at first who had the best time and seemed already uncatchable but Franco Morbidelli was really close to him with both running under the 1.59, but then came Maverick Vinales with a stunning 1.58.676 to snatch temporary pole position for a Yamaha trio in the first row running with medium rear tyre.
Session was not done yet, with Marc Marquez who tried everything he could to qualify himself in a good position, staying behind Fabio Quartararo for the whole session litteraly marking him until the end trying a mind game on French rookie but ended on crashing with a huge highside between turn 1 and turn 2. That meant free space for Fabio Quartararo, who still aborted his first fast lap but managed to get a second one with a fantastic late pole position ahead of Maverick Vinales who seemed to have that pole until Quartararo did his lap.
Franco Morbidelli snatched a temporary pole position but had to give up but still reached a good 3rd position ending first row being just one tenth of a second slower. Jack Miller is first Ducati on the grid in 4th ahead of Cal Cruchlow and Valentino Rossi, first rider over the 1.59 riding just in 1.59.000. Alex Rins qualified himself in 7th followed by Danilo Petrucci and a good Johann Zarco, while Andrea Dovizioso ended 10th ahead of Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia, who lost confidence and a bit of time in FP4 crashing destroying his first bike
