As happened for Moto3, also Moto2 combined times did not change too much from Friday sessions as long as during the morning riders had to face worse condition than yesterday. Top 14 stayed the same of FP2 so, with Joe Roberts ahead of everyone, while Sky Racing Team duo just behind (Bezzecchi 2nd, Marini 3rd). Some riders were still able to improve their lap time with some important names who snatched a direct access to Q2 as Fabio Di Giannantonio, who was out after FP2 but managed to get himself into 6th place.
The Italian ended just behind Aron Canet, 5th, one of the other rider who made a better lap than Friday one, with rookie Spaniard who is surprising everyone once again; Aspar Team rider finished the Friday in 14th, while he managed to cross the line in 5th. Tetsuta Nagashima kept his 4th place, while also Xavi Vierge and Augusto Fernandez did not improve their lap time finishing 7th and 9th.
Another one who had to get himself into top 14 was Remy Gardner, who crashed once again in the morning after falling down in the afternoon on Friday; the Australian anyway struggled a lot on trying a fast lap, but managed with a stunning fourth sector to put himself into 11th position! Also Enea Bastianini improved his chrono to get a good 8th position, while Bo Bendsneyder closed top 10 thanks to the lap made yesterday. Last rider who got a Q2 access are Nicolò bulega, Jorge Martin and Tom Luthi, with Jorge Navarro been taken out after the chequered flag.
