Marc Marquez tops the last practice session of the weekend with a 1.45.531 despite a crash at the end of the session at the Japanese GP.The Repsol Honda man was +0.310 in front of Cal Crutchlow, on another factory Honda, and Andrea Iannone finished third place on the Suzuki. Solo factory Ducati rider Andrea Dovizioso finished fourth place, +0.494 behind Marquez.
Danilo Petrucci finished in fifth place in front of the first factory Yamaha of Maverick Vinales who finished sixth.Alex Rins was seventh place and Jack Miller finished in eighth place. Valentino Rossi finished ninth +0.872 off the top and rookie Hafizh Syahrin rounded out the top 10.
Johann Zarco finished P11 followed by the KTM of Pol Espargaro in P12 and Dani Pedrosa P13.Bradley Smith finished 14th, Alvaro Bautista in 15th and Takaaki Nakagami in 16th. Tatsuyuki Nakasuga in P17, Franco Morbidelli in P18 and Aleix Espargaro in P19.
Scott Redding finished behind his teammate in 20th, Karel Abraham finished 21st and Xavier Simeon 22nd.
Wildcard and Suzuki test rider Sylvain Guintoli, Thomas Lithi and Jordi Torres round out the field.
